Humans, Are They Real? delves into the connections between sociology, ego, and metaphysical existence of the individuals living in New York City from the perspective of an implanted resident.
To combat the greyness of the city, we occupy ourselves with a singular concept, transforming from cynic actors into wholehearted believers. Our fantasy becomes a shelter, constructed from an extreme of personality, a grotesque beauty that enables us to weather New York City. Through photography, I aim to represent the notable hidden monsters I've encountered in New York City—those consumed by different aspects but comfortably at home in their mind.
